LaTeX not rendering on android app

since the update to the ChatGPT app UI on Android, LaTeX has not been rendering correctly and instead just displays the raw LaTeX code.
e.g. \mathbf{x}

I have been having this same issue for quite some time now, but I have just noticed that inline rendering does not work while block rendering does. Perhaps you could ask for every formula to be block rendered at the beginning of the prompt as a temporary solution?

This morning LaTex is not rendering on any of my devices: Android, as well as chrome on Windows or Android; it was working yesterday

Me as well. LaTex was rendering fine until earlier this morning.

Same issue here. LaTeX suddenly stopped rendering on Chrome, Firefox, Edge. Across multiple chats and different prompts. On IOS app it seems to be working fine, and non-rendered LaTeX on browsers is rendering properly in those chats on IOS.

For me it works but only if a ask it to prepend two newlines before the starting “[” of the blocks. And still it uses the inline “((” syntax somewhere.

Same issue for me on Android.

I think it sometimes work and sometimes not,
Even on web there were times I saw the latex syntax here and there, I think that GPT makes it bold and/or modifies it in any other way that interrupts the interpretation of the encoder sometimes even on web platforms.

Latex not rendering in mac desktop apps as well. i chcked the same thread in chrome, the equations are displayed well

I have similar issue.

Sometimes it is rendered properly, and sometimes it is not.
