Issue with Content Generation by ChatGPT PREMIUM

Dear OpenAI Support,

I would like to report an issue I encountered while using ChatGPT. I requested the generation of a document with at least 2000 words on a project related to renting artwork, but after numerous attempts and several hours of interaction, the model was unable to produce content that reached the required length.

Despite repeated attempts at expansion and providing detailed instructions to the model, the final document contained only a fraction of the requested word count (less than 1000 words). This caused a significant loss of time and frustration on my part, as I expected ChatGPT to be able to fulfill this request.

I would like to understand if there is a technical issue preventing the model from generating longer texts and if it is possible to resolve it, or if there are additional instructions I can follow to achieve a satisfactory result.

Thank you for your attention, and I look forward to your prompt response.

Best regards, waiting from you, thanks

Hi!

This is a known issue for a few reasons, but to get straight to the point, the usual solutions are to split the full 2000-word reply into several shorter responses, which you can then combine yourself.

Another approach is to request a specific number of paragraphs instead of a word count.

There are also ways to prompt the model to generate longer replies, but it’s generally more practical to follow the other suggestions.

If you’re still interested, you can search the forum. There are solutions available, and it can be a fun learning experience to see how to prompt the model to do something it’s generally reluctant to do.

Thanks mate! and what about creation of slide with graphics? seems to be impossible to do it…

Since I don’t know what you need I can’t properly answer.
It may be possible though using either code interpreter or DALL-E.
