Invoice Parser use gpt chat or assistant

Hi make some test to extract data from invoices with ChatGPT. So now I wont to creare an agent to process and extract data from it.

My invoice is in PDF and on GPT ui I can load it and parse.

Is it better create an assitant to do that o create a simple pushing dato do GPT.

Which is the driver to dicede when use an assistant in place to GPT?

I test an assistan based on my internal knowledge base and it works fine.

GPT models are the wrong tool for that.

why? and what is your suggestion?

Because OCR will sometimes make errors in recognition of numbers and GPT will hallucinate wrong numbers.
My suggestion is to look for a service instead of spending the next 3 years on this in agony and pain.
