Introduction to GPT-4.5 OpenAI Livestream 2/27/25

Personally, GPT-4.5 feels like a failed operation. Slightly better, but not enough to justify the cost. I, and I imagine the rest of the world will continue with gpt-4o or use a reasoning model for that extra oomph.

There is an arms race ramping up this year, Gemini Flash eating up a lot of the low end, Claude 3.7 / Grok 3 / DeepSeek V3 as direct competitors to GPT-4o. IMO we will see A LOT of rushed moves this year cause everyone is feeling tremendous amount of competition.
