Hi everyone — I’m Vakeesan Mahalingam.

I’m the former CEO and co-founder of Torram, a 5x founder, and I’ve been building with AI since 2023.

A lot of my work sits at the intersection of AI, web3, developer tooling, automation, and operator systems. One of the projects I’m especially focused on right now is MartinLoop, where I think a lot about coding agents in real workflows, human-in-the-loop control, observability, verification, stop rules, and long-running automation.

My web3 background shaped how I think about trust, incentives, coordination, and adversarial edge cases, and that lens has carried over directly into how I build AI systems today.

I’m here to learn from other Codex CLI users, share what’s working, and compare notes on where agentic workflows still break in practice.

Looking forward to meeting everyone here.

Cognitive load reduction… so important!

I have lived in China for the first 7 years of my life and:

  • Started programming.
  • Learnt Scratch.

Currently still in England after the 6 year anniversary of being here and:

  • Making games, systems, projects etc with AI.
  • Learning/learnt mostly JavaScript, HTML and PHP.

I mostly vibe code, write stories and model things in Blender.

I have made various 3D/2D/other projects with AI.

‘Completed’ Projects:

  • A little bit of large ~500KB+ single-file games,
  • A little bit of making systems/custom programming languages (e.g. Invented and still working on Glyph, a Godot-like game engine compatible with 2D/3D/other)
  • Mostly just messing around with what AI can do (Found a lot of fun things to play with, so far).

Current/Latest Project:

  • I have made a 3D head with mouth visemes, and am also writing 1001 Moral Stories with AI images, my dad’s voice and a multi-lingual interface…

Hobbies (surprisingly):

  • Reading (mostly fantasy) books,
  • Playing chess/D&D with friends.
  • Writing sci-fi stories.
  • Cooking (best cook in the family English and Chinese food).
  • I like running (100-400m)
