I need to process a large number of images. I have a good handle on output token costs. But I can’t find any solid information on what a 300x500 .webp file costs in terms of input. It all seems quite nebulous. “Processing complexity” isn’t helpful when creating budgets. Any input helpful.

On the pricing page, there is a Vision pricing calculator. In your case, 300x500 px image would set you back $0.000638 using gpt-4o-2024-08-06 model. At a “low resolution” it’s about a third of the cost.
