This still happens. Please investigate why the requested model is being silently downgraded.
Realistically you shouldn’t expect to get any help here, I think the best way for now is to post on somewhere like X/twitter or reddit to apply pressure.

I am a subscriber of the ChatGPT Pro 5x tier.
Since the release of version 5.6, I haven’t had the chance to use the Pro tier model. I can use the Thinking model normally, but the Pro model will be automatically routed down to the 5.5-mini model:

In the HAR network log, it can be seen that my subscription level information and requests are all normal, but the returned model is a downgrade model:

Seems like the issue’s been happening for over a month now for various users.
Same here for me with X, I don’t even have an active account there.
I dunno if they just randomly and silently rip off selected users so it’s not a universal crisis.
