Hi, I am a paid user but I have not been able to test the ‘canvas’ option even though I have it enabled, when I try to use it nothing is displayed, only the usual chatgpt 4 interface.
I tried using “use canvas”, “activate canvas”, “open a blank canvas”, and other options but never works…
and for those who ask the obvious (yes, I have previously selected the option to use canvas)
Has your problem been solved? It used to generate automatically, but now it doesn’t, and using the command doesn’t work either.
If you are having trouble with Canvas auto opening, you can ask for it, i.e. “Please open Canvas”
For some reason, I have the same issue as worldwideideas1. Even if I use the command “Create a canvas space”, it says that the canvas option is deactivated and that it’s a cut that’s affecting every users. But as I see now and in status OpenAI, it doesn’t seem to be the case.
And yes I’m a paid user, and yes I was in ChatGPT 4o with canvas, and no I wasn’t at my limit.
Oh thanks. It seems that it just got fixed. Not even 10 minutes before, it said that it was deactivated
Hi. It seems the problem is back and even when I say “Please open Canvas” it doesn’t act like it can even use it. But the funny thing is that it was fine not even 10 minutes ago and suddenly, right after working with another chat on “ChatGPT 4.0 with canvas”, it just gave up on using it.
Same here, tried tons of different ways to “open the canvas” and I keep getting gaslighted by the model saying it doesn’t have the ability to do it.
This is NOT the solution.
