I cannot finetune a fine-tuned gpt-4.1 model

Hello,

I tried to finetune a fine-tuned gpt-4.1-2025-04-14 model that I have created; however, the error message was shown: “Error creating job: Model ft:gpt-4.1-2025-04-14:personal::*** is not available for fine-tuning or does not exist”.

I could certainly finetune a finetuned gpt-4o-2024-08-06 model, so why cannot gpt-4.1?

It seems OpenAI still has not fixed models created over a recent period so that they can be continued on properly.
