Huge thanks to OpenAI for finally bringing dictation to the browser and desktop ChatGPT apps

This is such a meaningful update.

Months ago, I commented about how the lack of voice input on desktop was seriously limiting the experience. I rely on ChatGPT for real work—projects that live on my computer, not my phone. Having to open the app on both devices just to dictate while working felt like a massive workaround. And conversation mode just didn’t cut it—interruptions, premature sends, and that full-screen UI made it impractical for multitasking.

Dictation solves all of this.

Now I can speak naturally, stay focused on what I’m working on, and use ChatGPT as a proper assistant while I work—not separate from it. This makes the desktop version finally feel like the productivity tool it’s meant to be.

Really appreciate this one. :raising_hands:
