It seems that the chatgpts have some very serious glitches but in the forum i can only find the bugreports for the API in the forum and at all, so where do bugs go?
it seems that any chatgpt makes calculation errors even with some rather easy calculation, including those at perplexity and microsoft:

The language AI simply cannot do math well. It is designed for generating language a word at a time, and has no internal method for performing computations.
If you don’t like what ChatGPT produced, you can press the downvote, but that won’t make the AI any smarter in this case.
ChatGPT Plus gives access to GPT-4 which can do more correctly, and a code interpreter feature, where the AI can execute code it writes, such as code to act as a calculator.
Lets say it like this: The unwary user who does not know this an trys to make a calculation for a presentation without checking it might be in for nasty surprises and a wrong answer can be far worse than the GPT stating he cannot calculate, just imagine a doctor using GPT to calculate the dosage for his patients.
Let’s say this: people used to design building, bridges, aircraft using slide rules with the same number of digits of accuracy as the AI can often give.

There’s some warning when you get more complex.
It seems you are asking for the AI to produce a refusal.
The challenge would be in producing an AI that denies attempts at calculations only when it can’t actually perform them. What if I, as an API developer, give my AI a calculator tool it can use, but the OpenAI AI models only deny?
A doctor using AI to administer care didn’t read the OpenAI terms and conditions, just as one might overlook “ChatGPT can make mistakes” constantly below everything it writes.
