Hello, I like using the Mac app. It’s nice to have the shortcut mostly. However Chat autoscrolls very jerkily, line by line, and it gives me a headache. Until some smooth-scrolling feature is made, it would be nice if we could turn off auto-scrolling. Thank you!

In that case, there is no place for me file my bug/feature request. What do you suggest?
Dear God, please disable autoscroll or add an option in the app to do so. I don’t know how this wasn’t caught in usability testing (my guess is they use the web version internally or something). Every single time I ask a question, I need to scroll up 3-4 times to get out of the autoscroll then scroll back down (but not too far) so I can read the answer. It’s basically unusable as-is.
It’s funny because it feels like the autoscroll is “sticky”. I can’t just scroll up a little to stop it. I’ll bet some engineer spent some decent time making sure autoscroll “worked” even if a user scrolled manually while it was printing the first few lines of text (possibly a hardcoded margin in case the user was already scrolled up by a few pixels when it started printing). Feels like they spend too much time making sure it always worked and not enough time asking whether it SHOULD work like that (more engineering skills than design skills for sure).
Please just give me the option to let me scroll myself. At some point I’ll have to go find a 3rd party app because this is very frustrating.
