For a week i’ve been having issues with chatgpt web. It lags a lot when receiving an answer, kinda like running out of ram but its only chatgpt tab and nothing else. It’s been like this for over a week. Is this common or is it just me? haven’t found much people talking about it.

About 2 to 5 minutes for an answer, and stuff gets printed in chunks…
It’s happening to me as well. I end up having to refresh the page. 3.5 is working okay, but on long responses, it does the same. It makes it hard for me to do editing.
Same. Also, the browser process (ff) consumes >= 100% cpu during the lag (seen in ‘top’ and about:performance). Suddenly the response will come in much faster than token generation (or at least output) is normally done. Due to the CPU use and “buildup” of tokens, I’m guessing there’s some client-side js. issue. Clearing cookies, restarting, etc. don’t fix it.
Must have been an update or something for sure on chatgpt side. Last week it was working fine then while using it it became slow. I have the same issue and am surprised not a lot more people are complaining.
I also have the same problem, and it’s impossible to use chatgpt, considering that in my case it doesn’t even complete the messages!
