I’m very happy with 4o-mini generating English text. As my app is supposed to support multiple languages, I’ve started testing in German. The results are pretty disheartening, grammar errors and weird choices in verbs and nouns. Using 4o the language is great again, but the price tag that comes with it is not feasible for my application.
I was wondering/hoping if there might be future or current mini models that have been focus trained on specific languages. e.g. gpt-4o-mini-de.
