Since yesterday, neither the File Upload nor Web Browsing function have been working in ANY conversations, new or old. This problem doesn’t seem to affect the o1 or other models. But it has ground ALL progress to a halt since all prompts are treated as new conversations with no memory of previous prompts in the same conversation.
The failure to access file and photo processing is very annoying, will this be the end of GPT

In the past two weeks or perhaps three weeks, the short-term memory within a conversation has gotten much much worse. I’m going to guess this is somehow conserving resources but it is a major decrease in functionality. Having to constantly remind the program what is happening in the conversation leads to a loss of productivity but also basic critical thinking and problem-solving skills are reduced significantly as well.
