We too have all our Code on GitLab, being able to use Self-hosted git also for Codex Environment would be a total Game changer for us.

GitLab now supports CLI Agents. GitLab now has an official MCP Server.

Totally agree. I also use the same and every providor doesn’t seem to care about supporting Gitlab even tho its generally far better for Devs.
