Flexibility of the "purpose" in uploading files?

I’m uploading files, and I’d like to have a way to flag the files as “test”. Seems like “purpose” would be a reasonable way to do this, but I get a 400 BAD REQUEST when trying to use anything other than “fine-tune” – is there an approved list of values that will work here?

The documentation does not indicate that this value is restricted, only that it is required.

The only valid purpose at this time is fine-tune but OpenAI has stated this could change in the future.

This is a validation field and the only current validation is for fine tuning.

ok makes sense. seems like it is setup to be adaptable down the line… i’ll stick with fine-tune for now.
