Hello - I was wondering if there has been any communication regarding when lower tiers (Tier 1 and 2) will be eligible for fine tuning GPT4o mini. I looked through the documentation and didn’t see anything specific.

There is no explicit date mentioned as to when it will become available for Tiers 1 - 3. In one of their communications, they state that a gradual roll-out to lower tiers is planned:
Customize GPT-4o mini for your application with fine-tuning. Available today to tier 4 and 5 users, we plan to gradually expand access to all tiers. First 2M training tokens a day are free, through Sept 23.

My initial take was that from September 24 onwards it would be available to everyone but the wording used in various communications leaves room for interpretation in that regard.

Hi there @LadySushi - just wanted to follow up in you case you have not heard already: fine-tuning gpt-4o-mini is now possible for all usage tiers 1-5 with up to 2M free training tokens per day.
