It would be really nice and helpful to be able to search text with CTRL+F in ChatGPT app (currently Version 1.2024.268 (1727484326)).

Same here! The windows app doesn’t support control + F which is why I’m still using the Chrome web app.
As of this post the version is 1.2024.315.0
