I would like to suggest a feature that I believe would enhance the user experience with your AI assistant.
It would be fantastic if users could name their AI assistant to promote the developement of emotional attachment towards ChatGPT. The feature of naming your assistant would create a more personalized and engaging interaction between human and machine.
Furthermore, OpenAI would benefit financially from this feature by making it available exclusively to ChatGPT Plus subscribers. The ability to personalize could attract more users to pay for ChatGPT Plus, resulting even further in additional revenue and could also make users more prone to continue to pay for ChatGPT Plus, as the emotional attachment towards the assistant would make it an emotional loss to cancel the subscription.
Proposal:
• Customization of Name: Allow users to choose and name their AI assistant. This would increase the sense of ownership and personalization and also create a greater emotional attachment to the assistant, increasing use. Below is a summary of my proposal:

• Flexibility and Variation: Let users choose names from a predefined list or create their own, providing flexibility and variation.
• Privacy and Security: Ensure that name changes do not affect data and security protocols.
• Implementation in the App: Save the AI assistant’s name in the app settings so that it appears in all interactions and interfaces. Make the assistant refer to itself by its name.
• User Feedback: Collect user feedback on how the name change affects their experience to further improve the feature.
