We’ve all seen the impact of Spotify Wrapped—turning data into a personal moment of reflection, surprise, and storytelling.
I’d love to see OpenAI build something similar into ChatGPT.
Not just as a novelty, but as a thoughtful, structured recap of how users engage with AI as a thinking partner.
Here’s what I imagine:
- Session Summary: Estimated number of sessions, words, or tokens exchanged
- Top Themes: Key categories of usage (e.g., strategy, creativity, technical problem-solving)
- Prompt Evolution: How prompts have changed over time—getting more detailed, abstract, or iterative
- Patterns of Use: Time of day, session length, interaction style
- Reflection Hook: A closing insight about how your thinking or work has evolved
I prototyped this myself recently and shared it on LinkedIn. The response has been surprising—people really seem to crave not just more AI tools, but more visibility into how those tools are shaping the way they think and work.
Reflection is a feature, not a luxury.
If OpenAI were to build this, it could:
- Increase user retention through emotional connection
- Spark social sharing (without compromising privacy)
- Help users move from passive to intentional usage
- Position ChatGPT not just as a productivity tool, but as a long-term thinking partner
Curious what others think. Would this add value for you as a user?
Would love to hear your take.
