I would like to suggest adding a “Merge Chats” feature to ChatGPT. Many users have multiple conversations on the same topic over days or months, making it difficult to keep all the context in one place. A merge option would allow users to combine related chats into a single conversation while preserving the message history and attachments. This would reduce the need to repeat information, improve continuity, and make ChatGPT much more useful for long-term projects, research, troubleshooting, and planning. I believe this would significantly improve the overall user experience. I would love to hear what other users think about this idea.
I think this is a great idea, and one I made an account in the Developer Community just to request.
