I use Codex heavily for app development, and I’d really like an option to purchase a weekly usage reset/refill instead of only buying credits once the included weekly allowance is low or exhausted.
The weekly percentage is very easy to understand and budget around. Credits are much harder to predict because different tasks can consume very different amounts.
I’d personally prefer paying a clear fixed price to restore my weekly Codex allowance rather than repeatedly buying variable credits without knowing exactly how far they’ll go.
Ideally, the Usage screen could offer both:
Buy credits
Reset weekly usage
I think this would make Codex costs much more predictable for people doing sustained development work.
