Feature Request: Interactive 3D Avatar for ChatGPT Voice

I would like to suggest an exciting new feature for ChatGPT: a customizable, interactive 3D avatar that users can see and talk to in real time during voice conversations.
Currently, voice conversations feel somewhat limited because users interact mainly with a voice and a simple animated circle. I believe ChatGPT could offer a much more natural, engaging, and personal experience by introducing a virtual character that feels present during the conversation.
My suggestions for this feature:
- Customizable appearance: Allow users to choose their avatar’s appearance, including realistic human characters, cartoon characters, clothing, and hairstyles.
- Real-time facial expressions: The avatar should smile, laugh, blink, move its head, and express emotions naturally while speaking.
- Realistic lip synchronization: The character’s mouth movements should match the spoken words.
- Natural body movements: The avatar should use gestures and body language to make conversations feel more human.
- Proactive conversations: With the user’s permission, the avatar could occasionally initiate conversations or greet users naturally.
- Personalized voice and language: Users should be able to choose voices, languages, and dialects.
- Privacy controls: Users should have full control over when the avatar speaks, listens, or initiates a conversation.
I believe this feature could make ChatGPT feel less like a traditional digital assistant and more like an interactive virtual companion. It could make conversations more immersive, accessible, and enjoyable.
The technology for real-time voice interaction, 3D animation, and facial expressions already exists. Integrating these capabilities into ChatGPT could create a remarkable user experience.
