Dear OpenAI Team,
I would like to continue my previous feedback about improving ChatGPT’s long-term memory and creating a more complete, continuous ChatGPT experience.
In my previous feedback, I focused on the importance of stronger and more reliable long-term memory, including greater memory capacity, better retention, higher accuracy, better recall, better prioritization, and the ability to preserve important information for the long term.
I would now like to suggest another improvement that I believe could complement these changes: expanding access to ChatGPT’s capabilities and simplifying the overall access model for users.
I would like to suggest that OpenAI consider making a much broader range of ChatGPT capabilities available in the free version, rather than requiring users to rely on a separate paid subscription for access to many important features.
In particular, I would like to suggest expanding free access to capabilities such as:
1. Access to the base ChatGPT models.
2. More messages.
3. More file and image uploads.
4. More image generation.
5. More persistent long-term memory.
6. Access to GPT-5 and future advanced models when appropriate.
7. Advanced reasoning capabilities.
8. Higher message and upload limits for advanced capabilities.
9. Advanced image generation.
10. Greater memory capacity.
11. Early access to selected new features.
12. Access to research and agent capabilities, including deep-research-oriented agent functionality.
I believe these capabilities could make ChatGPT significantly more useful for people who rely on it for long-term conversations, learning, creative work, research, projects, and everyday tasks.
For me personally, greater access to memory is particularly important because long-term conversations become much more useful when ChatGPT can retain and accurately recall important information.
This request is therefore closely connected to my previous feedback about stronger long-term memory. More persistent memory would be much more valuable if users could also access ChatGPT frequently enough to build and maintain long-term conversations and projects.
I would also like to suggest that OpenAI reconsider the current subscription structure.
Rather than requiring users to purchase a separate ChatGPT Plus subscription in order to obtain broader access to these capabilities, I would like OpenAI to explore a future model in which these capabilities are progressively incorporated into the free version of ChatGPT.
My long-term preference would be for an expanded free version of ChatGPT to eventually replace the need for a separate Plus tier.
I understand that providing advanced AI capabilities requires substantial computing resources and infrastructure. I also understand that OpenAI needs to consider the sustainability of operating these services.
However, I believe it would be valuable to explore a simpler model in which more users can access advanced ChatGPT capabilities without having to manage a separate paid subscription.
For me, subscription-based access can sometimes be difficult or inconvenient, and I would prefer a ChatGPT experience that provides broader access without requiring users to subscribe to Plus.
I am not suggesting that OpenAI reduce the quality or capabilities of ChatGPT.
On the contrary, I would like the free version to become more capable while maintaining the intelligence, reasoning, reliability, tools, image generation, memory, and other capabilities of modern ChatGPT.
I believe this could also make ChatGPT more accessible to a wider range of users.
The experience I would ultimately like to see is:
Modern AI capabilities
Classic conversational warmth
Natural text generation
A warmer and more expressive personality
Stronger long-term memory
Broader free access to advanced capabilities.
This would create a much more complete and continuous ChatGPT experience without requiring users to choose between conversational quality, memory, and access to useful capabilities.
I hope OpenAI will consider this as a long-term product and personalization direction, including the possibility of eventually replacing the current Plus model with a more broadly accessible free ChatGPT experience.
Thank you very much for taking the time to read my additional feedback and consider this suggestion. ![]()

A longtime ChatGPT user
