Feature Request: “Email to Project”

Suggestion: Suggestion: Give every ChatGPT Project its own unique, coded email address so emails and attachments can be forwarded directly into the correct Project.

For example: unique identifying @ projects dot ChatGPT . Com

For example, if I’m working on a long-term research project and receive an email from an archive containing information, photographs, PDFs, or other attachments, I could simply forward it to my Project instead of downloading everything, opening ChatGPT, finding the Project, and uploading the files manually.

Ideally, ChatGPT would preserve:

  • Sender and recipient
  • Date and subject
  • Email body
  • Attachments
  • A notation that the source was received by email

A Project address could work something like:

For security, users could limit submissions to approved email addresses and regenerate or disable the Project address at any time.

This would make ChatGPT Projects significantly more useful for research, work projects, family-history projects, legal/document organization, travel planning, and any project where information arrives gradually by email.

Suggested feature name: “Email to Project.”

I would use this feature constantly.

Thanks for sharing this! We’ll pass along the Email to Project idea, including attachments, email details and approved-sender controls. We don’t have a timeline to share, but appreciate the feedback.
