I am getting the below-mentioned error when I am trying to Open an existing Chat.
Project not found or insufficient permissions. Please verify the project exists, and ensure that your account has the necessary permissions and that there are no workplace restrictions preventing access.
Same here, I had my chats inside projects when I paid one month plus but now the plus is over and the error appears in every chat
I have the same problem.
I also noticed that my projects, where I had organized some chats, disappeared.
At the moment, I have a giant list of chats that are not organized by projects.
Have the same problem. Folders disappeared and “Project not found or insufficient permissions. Please verify the project exists, and ensure that your account has the necessary permissions and that there are no workplace restrictions preventing access.”
The specific prompt was found through the search.
Would be happy to hear a solution.
I’m experiencing the same issue. The only change on my end was switching from ChatGPT Plus to the Free version. My conversations still appear in the list, but I get a 404 error when trying to open them on the iOS app. I also see this message on desktop version:
“Project not found or insufficient permissions. Please verify the project exists, and ensure that your account has the necessary permissions and that there are no workplace restrictions preventing access.”
My project folders have also disappeared. I don’t understand what’s happening.
I managed to resolve the issue. You have to upgrade your subscription once more, then remove all the chats from projects, then you can downgrade again and all the chats will remain accessible, even after the subscription ends. They should include a note, when creating projects concerning this issue.
