While I understand that the full ChatGPT experience may require capabilities beyond what Wear OS currently supports, it would be incredibly useful if the Pixel Watch 3 could serve as a Bluetooth-connected microphone and speaker for the phone’s ChatGPT app.
Use the watch mic to capture voice input.
Stream it via Bluetooth to the ChatGPT Android app for processing.
Return the voice response to play through the watch speaker.
This would create a near-hands-free conversational assistant experience without needing to unlock or hold the phone. Even a limited implementation with audio passthrough would be very valuable for on-the-go users, especially those using Pixel Watch with LTE or during workouts/travel.
Why it matters:
Enhances accessibility and usability of ChatGPT.
Makes better use of existing wearable hardware.
Competes directly with offerings from Google Assistant, Alexa, and Samsung Bixby — without the need to develop a full featured Wear OS app from scratch.
