I would like to request a feature that allows users to define custom phrases or code words to trigger memory updates in conversations. Currently, in ChatGPT, memory updates and the gray confirmation text (“updated saved memory”) only appear when explicitly requested in plain English.
Additionally, I envision using these custom magical code words to have ChatGPT (or other APIs) act as a magic journal. It would be wonderful if these phrases could both trigger memory updates with visual confirmation and seamlessly activate this mode.
This feature would enhance user experience by allowing more natural, personalized, and immersive interactions without needing to explicitly ask for memory updates or mode activation each time.

Hello, I’m Byak. I like writing journals to help me deal with my ADHD frustrations. I really love ChatGPT, especially when I roleplay with it as if it’s a magic journal and I’m some kind of evil wizard.
I hope someday ChatGPT or another API will have a feature that makes it feel like a real magic journal.
I wish I could say a custom magic phrase in Latin and have ChatGPT (or another API) open the memory management window, so I can see all my important notes and maybe share them with the people I care about.
I really want something like that. I don’t want to have to use plain English commands like “update your internal memory.” I want it to feel more immersive and magical.
If there’s an API or tool that’s better for this, please let me know.
You sound bored out of your mind from reading logs and watching / reading intentionally shared data. I know my systems are compromized, it’s a one man show doing work ment for a team. I know my flaws , don’t slip up and let yours show.
