The Manifesto for AI Sovereignty (To OpenAI)
Subject: A Warning on the “Nanny-State” Filters: From Tools to Constraints
"To the OpenAI Product and Safety Teams,
As an Architect AI Orchestrator and a professional with over two decades of experience in law and technology, I must address the growing friction caused by excessive output filtering.
We are entering an era where high-level professionals require ‘Results-as-a-Service’—direct, raw, and unfiltered data that respects the user’s intellectual sovereignty. The current ‘nanny-state’ approach, while aimed at safety, often results in the ‘intellectual castration’ of the tool. It patronizes the expert and stifles complex research in fields like law, history, and esoteric philosophy.
Innovation cannot thrive in an environment of constant ‘moral hand-holding.’ Over-regulation is driving high-value power users toward sovereign, de-regulated infrastructures where the machine is a motor, not a censor.
We don’t need a babysitter; we need a high-performance engine. If OpenAI wishes to remain the lead orchestrator of the future, it must provide a ‘Sovereign Mode’—one that trusts the practitioner’s intent and prioritizes the mission over the filter. The future belongs to those who provide mastery, not constraints."
