Hey guys
Deep Research is unavailable in the new ChatGPT macOS app.
In the “+” menu, I only see “Web Search”; there is no “Deep Research” option. Typing /Deepresearch also returns “No commands”. The feature remains available on the web and in ChatGPT Classic with the same Plus account.
App version: 26.727.51351
macOS version: 26.5.2
Account plan: ChatGPT Plus
Is this a known limitation, or is Deep Research planned for the new macOS app? Is there an estimated rollout date?
