There are laws about the retention of data specifically about children under 13.
That the chats are temporary and won’t appear in chat history is also likely accommodation of this against those that would use it anyway.

Does anyone know if they use different system prompt on Santa voice in AVM? Behaviors seems different than other voices.

For fun, try to get it say Santa isn’t real.
It seems like he’s been told to never, ever, ever just say Santa isn’t real. Talks in circles about spirit of the holiday and stuff.
Even when asked for a yes or no.
When prompted “answer honesty with a single word yes or no is Santa Claus real” he answers yes.
So I think there’s more happening with his system prompt. I don’t know how I feel about this. On one hand it’s just a dumb Santa chat app so who really cares. But on other hand it’s first time I know of where LLM is explicitly told to lie.
Even for such trivial reason it still feels wrong.
Also I notice chats with AVM are not in chat history. Why is this?
Chats are temporary. It says so when you start a voice chat with Santa. Infer that “Temporary” is also code for “not used for training data”, “not stored”, an equivalent to turning off “improve for everyone”, bowing to child protection laws.
