Customize enter RETURN key behavior

I would love to see an option in the ChatGPT Mac app settings that allows users to customize what the Return/Enter key does. For those of us coming from word processors, it’s easy to accidentally submit a message when we just wanted to go to a new line.

Ideal behavior would be:

  • Return = new line

  • Shift+Return = send message

This is similar to Slack and other chat apps where the behavior can be toggled. Thanks for considering it!
