some other forums have a feature where you can upvote feature reqeusts. this is a great overview, for all parties. gives great feedback to developers and your marketing team what people want (check out elfsight forum).

I cannot agree with this enough. This is precisely what i just came to these forums to search for.

Forum feature for voting on wishes?

  • I wish I could vote on requests people make for improvement
  • I wish I could downvote a stream of implausible ideas
  • I care not what others think of my feature request
  • How do I “like” a forum post?

Yes, I totally agree with this.

I myself want to submit a suggestion, and I wasn’t sure where to put it. At first, I thought OpenAI or ChatGPT could do this automatically for me. I even asked ChatGPT to send my idea to the developers, but it told me it can’t do that.

I’ve been looking around here on the forum and honestly wasn’t sure if I’m even supposed to be posting here, since all I wanted was a place to drop a suggestion. Having a dedicated feature request section where people can vote would make this so much clearer and easier.

So yes—I’m all for this idea.
