i’m getting an error on context /compact on the macos app, i am running on a custom provider (openai on azure).
alos unrelated issue, when i use azure as my default provider, i am no longer connected to codex with my openai account.

You are welcome to discuss Codex issues on the forum, however the official place to report and track them is the GitHub issue tracker for OpenAI Codex.

Thanks for reporting this. It sounds like there may be two separate issues here:
- /compact returning an error when using a custom Azure OpenAI provider in the macOS app
- Codex disconnecting from your OpenAI account when Azure is set as the default provider
Since both involve account integration behavior, could you please open a support ticket and include:
- macOS app version
- the exact error message/screenshots
Once the ticket is created, please share the case ID here so I can track it internally.
