The chat widget progress indicator stays in this exact shape, doesn’t rotate (symptom).
Also, chat content simply does not refresh. I see “Thinking” (does not animate, does not move like it used to), and I have to click into a couple of sub agent chats before the main chat thread decides to show the updated chat state (i.e. the response to my question).
Hey @nickzsb.nz, yeah, a frozen “Thinking” state where the response only appears after switching chats definitely isn’t ideal.
Since this is an older thread dated July 13 - the desktop app was updated around this time, could you make sure you’re on the latest version?
If it still reproduces, please share your OS + desktop app version, along with the approximate time/time zone when it happens? Please open a support request at support@openai.com. We’re going to close it for now.
