Codex Desktop Browser plugins fail with “trusted code path” error

Environment:
- Windows
- Codex Desktop package: 26.814.5167.0
- Chrome plugin: 26.814.41407
- Browser plugin: 26.814.41407
- Chrome extension: 1.2.27259.19709, installed and enabled

Error:
Trusted RPC dependency must resolve within a configured trusted code path:
file:///%USERPROFILE%/.codex/plugins/cache/openai-bundled/browser/26.814.41407/scripts/browser-service.mjs

Steps to reproduce:
1. Attach the Chrome plugin and request a browser task.
2. Reinstall the plugin and fully restart Codex.
3. Attach the Browser plugin explicitly.
4. The connection fails before any tab can be accessed.

Expected:
Chrome or the in-app Browser connects and exposes available tabs.

Actual:
Both plugins fail with the trusted-code-path error.

Troubleshooting already completed:
- Chrome extension confirmed installed and enabled.
- Chrome plugin reinstalled multiple times.
- Codex fully restarted.
- Browser plugin explicitly attached.
- The same failure persists.

No browser tabs can be accessed.
