Was not able to reproduce the problem using the 4o-mini model 
Note: This was done using Windows Desktop ChatGPT app, I don’t think that should matter.
I could replicate yesterday and today, it seems that when the 4o quota is done and you start with mini, it works just fine, but when you try later with the regular model you get the problem again. (tried on windows with Brave and Edge)

No, it is happening in all new chats.
As soon as you get an error when it tries to show code, the chat also stops working completely.
The reason for asking if it was solved is the impression was that it was just hitting a quota and waiting resolved the problem. However your latest reply has me confused.
it is the other way around, within the quota does not work and when you hit the quota and switch to the other model that starts working (seems odd, but if you wait and open a new chat, you get the problem, after getting the message that you hit the quota, it works).
Could replicate this, code snippets are not working and telling it to print it as plain text ALWAYS gives an instant error.
you can go around this by exhausting the GPT-4o trial and getting it to use GPT-4o mini
To reproduce the bug you probably need to install Debian GNU/Linux 12 (GNOME desktop environment) on Lenovo laptop with AMD CPU and have Google Chrome browser and be in Serbia. Note this may not reproduce on virtual machines and emulators. Can you try it?
