Hello OpenAI Community,
I’m seeking your advice and insights on a matter that’s been quite challenging for me. On top of everything else I use GPT for, I started using it as a part of a journaling exercise, a spin on what was recommended during therapy, to further explore and understand the emotional aspects of my childhood experiences. This approach has proven to be incredibly useful, supplementing my ongoing professional therapy.
However, I’ve been encountering issues with the content policy. Despite focusing solely on the emotional impact and always avoiding any explicit details, my posts have been flagged over and over, and I’m now facing the threat of account suspension. I’m aware that this platform isn’t a substitute for therapy, but it has been an invaluable tool in my journey.
It’s been over a week since I reached out to the help desk for clarification, but I’ve yet to receive a response. This has left me in a state of uncertainty about how to appropriately engage in these discussions within the guidelines.
I would greatly appreciate input on a few points:
- Has anyone else used this platform as an aid in personal development or emotional exploration, and how have you navigated the content policy in doing so?
- Are there specific strategies or best practices you could suggest to ensure compliance with the policy while engaging in meaningful personal growth discussions?
- Have any of you faced similar challenges, particularly regarding account flags or difficulties in getting responses from the help desk? If so, how did you address these issues?
Any advice, shared experiences, or insights would be immensely helpful. I believe understanding these nuances is not only crucial for my situation but could also be beneficial for others who might be in similar circumstances.
Thank you for your time and support.
Warm regards,
