Clarification on Semantic score

We understand that the similarity score is a positive score that usually ranges from 0 to 300 (but can sometimes go higher), where a score above 200 usually means the document is semantically similar to the query. At the moment, the score is very useful for ranking (we’ve seen it outperform many existing semantic ranking approaches),

But does the engine return only a score in the range of 0-300?
In some cases, I see the engine score above 300 (We are using the Q&A model)

Can you please give me the maximum range of the score, because we are trying to convert the score to 0 -100
