Just having the site open with chatgpt open for discussion crashes my firefox after some time, If I have it closed my firefox is stable.
Please fix it.
Is this a specific issue with just Firefox? For example if you were to use Brave Browser in the same manner and see if you get the same results. Lets say it still crashes, than this might be a Script error or memory error being created by Unbuntu. Also try using ChatGPT in private mode on and repeat the same test. Lastly check your browser extension, some on firefox can crash sometimes because of script issues. I’m not saying its not a bug from OpenAI but it just seems a little odd. Hopefully one of these things can help you narrow the crash down? I have an extension called “extension switch” it can shut down each extension with a click of a button, it has allows me to debug little stuff like this, maybe firefox has one? Hope this helps friend.
