I had an interesting encounter with ChatGPT. I asked for a 1080-token response, but it couldn’t handle it. GPT-3.5 can go up to 4096 tokens, but very long requests might get truncate. this is a follow up question for the last response.
Yes, OpenAI has introduced more denials so that not only is the AI not trained to give you the quality and length of output you want, trying to ask for it and you just get shut down for just asking a phrase of likely circumvention. They also have more “about ChatGPT” fine-tune. The AI can’t count tokens. There is 1536 tokens maximum response in ChatGPT.
Producing tokens costs money.
