ChatGPT not knows default line numbers in the side canvas

When I insert source code to ask a question ChatGPT opens the side canvas that shows the line numbers.
When I refer to the line numbers it gets it wrong, as a workaround I told it to add the line numbers in the code.
Obviously this is absurd.
