Usually I hit the ChatGPT-Plus limit, but it tells me when it will resume. Now it seems that it just automatically makes you use GPT3.5 and doesn’t even tell you how long to wait until GPT4 is available again? That is insane. I pay for this, and I don’t know “when I can use it” again? How is that even a thing? I PAY FOR THIS. They can’t even give me the benefit of know when I can use what I am paying for?
Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed this? I was okay with the limits, since it has a timeout clearly listed. So I could set an alarm or schedule something else to do. It is kind of hard to know when to use it again when there is no time disclosed. Very annoying, horrible choices made by OpenAI and I rarely post or bring things up at all.
Yep, I was kicked off to 3.5 version after 21 queries. Explanation: they are making it available to others in order for them to consider different subscription tiers. I guess contracts i.e $20.00 a month for 40 queries or 3 hours, mean shit to tech bros and their ilk.
Usually they remove insights when they are actively modifying and testing things. I wouldn’t be surprised to see that the limit will depend on how many services you are using (If you are using just the base model, or using web browsing for example)
I was familiar with that, I meant that it doesn’t even say an explanation anymore, or a time frame of when your ban is lifted again. (yes I call it a ban, not a limit).
This has been happening since around a week ago. Just switch back to ChatGPT-4 or a custom GPT and try entering a prompt, and it should tell you the time.
They apply the limit which is understandable but its kind of dump removing the time telling when the limit gets lifted. Please dont be shady OpenAI. Show us you truly count the time correctly because I know GPT4 cannot do the counting. GPT3.5 knows how. Might be using GPT3.5 to train GPT4 on how to do so. This is so funny. Or send GPT4 to the kindergarten to learn how to count.
