So, while I was writing a story, ChatGPT completely deleted pretty much everything, the entire chat is pretty much gone, why is that? what is going on? as far as I know it’s only one chat thread because I have been only working in one.
I need answers I am becoming frustrated beyond belief now.
Okay now even more unhappy, I just got back with attempting to get help from support, and they basically just told me “Oh well, start over” ??? and how does that guarantee this doesn’t happen again? why am I paying for something that is as unreliable and glitchy as this? shouldn’t seem worth the money I am paying for, and it doesn’t seem like they care to me.
At least that is what that gives off, if there was another meaning behind it, it was not palpable.
Wow, they have me only talking to ChatGPT, awesome customer service, smh.

That’s not a great experience. I can agree to that.
This ‘disappearing chat history’ thing is something that happens to all of us once in a while. Until today the history has always reappeared.
So, when this happens we have to wait until the servers work as expected again as this is a temporary issue.
Yeah, happens from time to time. Sometimes it’s fixed by refreshing the browser.
My chat isn’t asking me to retry, it literally is just gone. It’s not asking me to do, anything, just gone. I can basically scroll to the top of my thread and there are only three messages that show up out of like…45-50? it’s all but done like 90%, I have tried refreshing the page, clearing cache and history, signing out and back in…it seems like it’s gone, literally been a whole 10 hours since it disappeared.
That doesn’t work, I have tried everything. its not asking me to try again, it wiped 90% of the conversation keeping only 3 messages from it SMH.
It has been a has been a whole 24 hours since this took place, my chat is still missing.
I mean the whole request to start over seems like very rude cop-out place, I would be able to start over if they had not deleted my personal notes and writings. This is absolutely crazy; I think I would like to reconsider my membership.
