Can't sign in to ChatGPT Mac App - I have M1 Chip!

I am encountering this issue where I cannot log in to the ChatGPT app. Yes, I am using a M1 Mac and I have just updated to MacOS Sonoma 14.6.

A restart did not fix the issue. I have not ever managed to get the App working/operational.

If you know how to fix, please help.

I have the same issue however the sign in failed message disappears and it’s too fast for me to screen grab.

MBP M1 2020.

It’s annoying paying GPT+ but I have to keep logging in via browser

It’s so frustrating. I have found other posts made regarding this issue by Macbook m1 2020 users. OpenAI must be aware of it but they choose not to do anything about it.

Works here on M1 Ultra (2022 Mac Studio). Sonoma 14.6.1

I have a similar issue. I can’t log into the macOS app and it shows a similar error as the original post in this thread.

I have a MacBook 2020 with M1 with Sequoia 15.1.1, but I get a similar message. Can anyone help me?
