Looks like Codex has finally rolled out to Plus users. I connected Github to my Codex instance through the ChatGPT Connector. When I try to code something, I get this error: GitHub Repository must be initialized to be used within Codex. And yet, it is connected according to my viewing of the settings and environment that I created. Anyone have this issue?
I think I fixed it - the github repo was set but must not have been completed fully. Once set, I was able to initiate a task.

Could you elaborate on what task you performed that’s descibed as “once set” here?
Figured it out. In my example, I was connected to a repo with no codebase. Added in github directly and was off to the races.
That is the same way I figured it out too. In GitHub, I created a repo but no codebase.
you must create on you github repo file name like: README.md ![]()
Yes that seemed the issue. It must not like an empty repo?
No. if you have empty repo then Codex tell you notify about not loaded or something like that ![]()
BTW this is amazing tool :o I collect my teeth from ground ![]()
