[BOOK] Symphony of Thought: Orchestrating Artificial Cognition is digitally available

Symphony of Thought: Orchestrating Artificial Cognition is my third book on the topic of AI. This book covers the philosophy and principles behind creating autonomous digital entities, what I sometimes call “artificial cognitive entities” or ACOG for short.

In this book, I outline the case for creating autonomous machines (rather than trying to keep them on a leash) and the go through all the necessary criteria for creating such a machine. Then, for most of the book, I discuss the software systems required to approximate human cognition and autonomy. I cover topics ranging from programming sentience, planning, and self-correction.
