Hi @mu2addi6
I really I appreciate your point of view. Not only from a technical perspective and the only hability from Chat Gpt to automate tasks…
ChatGPT could be re-envisioned as a moderator that helps individuals navigate complex ethical issues. Instead of dictating moral directives, it would surface diverse viewpoints and facilitate balanced discussions. This could help overcome individual biases and encourage a more nuanced understanding of ethical dilemmas.
It’s super useful, but you must be very careful about leading questions.
The AI will produce a set of output tokens that would logically follow given the input, so if you have deliberately or accidentally put a thumb on the scales in terms of the question asked, the output can often be directed in that direction.
It’s very similar to the issues pollsters have in designing their questions, a leading question however innocently crafted can bias the output of a pole in one direction or the other.
You can setup personas to strongman a particular take and then argue against that to test your points, but you need to be aware that at some point the number of tokens in the thread towards a particular viewpoint will start to affect the contents of the responses.
This guy really needs a hug… Now AI is clearly out to get him!
I see no reason this post was hidden?
This is the community forum.
This is in the news and and under a thread about ‘Biased Responses about Donald Trump’. It also indicates he is a ‘dangerous person for society’.
It highlights that OpenAI is not the only company with such issues!
If you’d like to flag my post again I’d appreciate a reason.
