 true , most creators ignore the original author.

I’m gonna copy/paste a comment I just made over in the dall e 3 subreddit…as I’m trying to figure this out as well:

Ive been playing with it since I got the option in chatgpt…its really remarkable for images, even detailed infographics…and its getting SOME of the main words right. but some are still a little wonky and additional detailed info in text is all screwed up still. asking it to fix specific mistakes via follow up prompts will make it provide new images telling me they are fixed…but still alot of mistakes.

ive been reading here and watching different videos and forum threads etc about why/how it has difficulty with text…but still dont really understand. cant it just overlay basic text letters based on different selected fonts or something? and full disclaimer im not trying to be negative here, this is miracle level stuff to me…i just dont have the frame of reference to understand the problem with text

currently just getting the main basic image or infographic then editing myself with my video/image editor tool and/or canva…gotta keep it in perspective the massive amount of time and money this is still saving

I just tried asking it: I want the text to specifically say “3 word phrase” and “2 word phrase” and “3 word phrase” and “2 word phrase” in modern style

And it didnt seem to make any difference in the spelling errors

Please show me the complete prompt so I can give a try

It’s annoying that sometimes it gets so close, but one letter out. I don’t understand what causes it. Ironically, I’ve found it easier to get it to swear due to that, than to reliably get it to put the text you want!

I have yet to ever get it to spell the word “Hollandaise” correctly. It is always off by one or more letters. I finally just gave up.

Welcome to the forum.

Yeah, that seems to be a difficult word… so I kinda cheated and tried “Dutch Sauce” haha…

Hope you stick around. We’ve got some good dalle3 threads going…

Well, I like your idea for using “Dutch Sauce” except it doesn’t really work with the phrase “There’s no plates like chrome for the Dutch Sauce”

I findit helps to describe it in great detail the fonts lettering and make it almost over redundant then it dosent forget.

you have 30 years of experiencing in prompting. give me prompt for zapt.ai app where when user give input this app show options all social media account names to generate tags.when a user choose his social account this app give tags as output .Note: all tags should be high search volume and low comptition.understood. NOTE: 2 output: Only JSON ARRAY OF TITLES. Without any text. ok?

Hi and welcome to the Developer Forum!

It seems like you are looking for ChatGPT! This is not it, you can find it over at https://chat.openai.com

I am pretty sure it’s because images are generated from other parts of images and text is interpreted as image not as text itself.

So in short it tries to replicate the text by searching images with similar text you inputed (as image)
I hope this makes sense.

so what I did was create a custom gpt bot and then tell it to use a font website when generating the text. I am still doing testing with it but that should work if you give a clear enough prompt. Also it always helps to put the text in “” to make sure it understands what part is the text.

it is still having issues with spelling so I am going to work on that but I think using something like a font website or maybe another could help

Can you elaborate on what you mean by telling it to use a font website? Are you giving it a link? Uploading a file? Or just telling it to refer to a specific website? Thanks in advance!!

GPT can’t use fonts, it is just drawing pixels that “look like a font”.

I uploaded those fontsheets once (without the font name) as a test and asked ‘which font is used’.

He didn’t know. → it came close with “Arial and Garamond”, but for typographic purists this is nonsene.

Than I said ‘write Hello, World!’ in the exact font used in the images.

It wasn’t able.

You can referrer to ‘USA newspaper font from 1850’ or ‘classic sans-serif from the Helvetica era’, or ‘Egyptienne font’ (which is a font family, nothing to do with the Egyptian hieroglyphics).

But that’s more like style and atmosphere; it is never “using” that font to create text.

Staying here to see if anyone solves this. Haven’t been able myself, at least yet.

Generating accurate text with DALL-E is one big challenge; generating NO text when you don’t need it is an even bigger challenge.

Stable Diffusion allows you to enter negative keywords, and it works pretty well. I wonder when this feature will come to DALL-E
